help! need inexpensive (<$15/person) restaurant for a date tonight!

Hi Chowhounds-

I have a date tonight for dinner but for some reason am drawing a total blank on where to go. Could be the butterflies in my stomach! Yikes. The requirements:

- inexpensive (less than 15/person would be ideal)
- ideally, somewhere in the Western Addition or Pacific Heights (I know that limits the options, but that's where we're meeting)
- someplace we could get into without a reservation or insanely long wait on a friday night

I don't really care much about "romantic" atmosphere and whatnot-- candlelight is lovely, but good food is far more important to wooing, in my opinion!

Well if you go early or late, I would say Little Star, otherwise you'll have a wait.

Herbivoire comes to mind for me. On Divis and Hayes. Well-priced for sit-down. No need for a ressy. Nice ambiance.
