Good Quality Restaurants with a Toddler

  • 2

I'm coming up to Manhattan to visit my sister in a week or so with my two and a half year old son. With that said, I would very much like to find a delicious restaurant that wouldn't be opposed to serving us with my son.

My son is a fairly adventurous eater and loves Turkish, Italian and even some Indian foods. Some of his odd favorite items in the foods we make include capers, pickles, hearts of palm, broccoli and spicy pork.

Two of the restaurants I was really excited to try were Boqueria and/or Tamarind. I have no idea if these are good spots for a young child, even if he is well behaved.

Thoughts? I would greatly appreciate any counsel.

Thanks!
Isabella

  1. Since you mentioned Turkish, you might want to try Ali Baba on E. 34th Street. I, too, have a toddler and we bring her there. I would suggest going early, maybe at 5:30 or 6:00.

    1. Neither Boqueria nor Tamarind is appropriate for a toddler.

      For Italian, Otto is family/toddler-friendly.
