Clam Chowder-one of the best in OC or LA
7626-B E. Chapman Ave

One of my favorite CC is Harbor Grill in DP. Well, I think I've found it's DADDY?
Fish House located in east Orange has some pretty good stuff, packed with tender clams.
Don't miss the Boston Clam Chowder
Charred Mahi Mahi plus a lot of other fresh Fish menu items.
No Corkage Charge, so bring wine.
Fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. Half the price of King's Fish House and very similar quality.
I have been going here for several years, and it has always been pretty good. In the last few months, though, there are new owners and an increase in quality, IMO. I like it, too, but its menu is much more basic than Kings. Basically a few kinds of good fish, prepared as you wish, and a couple good side dishes, without much else to choose from. Really good if that is what you are in the mood for.
yeah, this place seems to fly under the radar, perhaps becuase it is just a little mom and pop operation. They don't have much seating and the tables outside are often full. It's fresh, quick and cheap. I, too like their clam chowder. It is in the same shopping center as the Pacific Ranch Market on Chapman and Newport in East Orange. Not to be confused with King's Fish House on the other side of Orange. This place is much smaller and much cheaper than Kings. But if I recall correctly, you can get your fished charbrioled or blackened just like at Kings. BTW, I just noticed that the same center is opening a Chronic Tacos soon..
