Help! Marjoram Substitute Needed

I have a recipe and the ingredients for a ricotta frittata but don't have the marjoram that is called for. What would be a good substitution? Thanks!

Yes, oregano is your closest option.

I would also suggest a bit of thyme - always nice with eggs and works well with ricotta. You could also add some chopped tomatoes to the frittata, but make sure to take out the seeds and vegetation water otherwise it might be too wet.

marjoram is oregano's cousin, so go light on some oregano.

it actually sounds like it would go well with that.
