What happened to Sam Marvin? [moved from L.A. board]
Does anyone know if he's working somewhere? Or maybe opened his own place? Is he even in LA?
I am a fellow chef and big fan of of his food. I spoke with him about a month ago and know that he has formed a restaurant group with some high profile financial guys and his front man partner from Le Dome. They have been in development for sometime now and they just signed a deal on there first location, 7th and Grand. from what I hear it is a pretty spectacular space. I too miss his food and think he is one of the most unheralded chefs this city has ever had.
