restaurant/inn wedding venue in southern NH?

My fiancee and I are trying to find a restaurant/inn location in southern NH that could fit about 100 guests for our wedding reception. We are looking at the Peterborough, Hancock, Dublin, Sharon area. In particular, I am trying to remember a place I went to for a reception, but the name escapes me and any searches on the web have proven fruitless. So, I turn to fellow Chowhounds for help. This place had kind of an old farm feel to it, with exposed beams throughout, and beautifully maintained grounds and flower beds on the back side of it, perfect for a cocktail reception. Any ideas?

Bedford Village Inn. East of where you want to be, but not by much. They do it all very well.

Not positive but would it be the "Mileaway" either Amherst or Milford, beautiful setting, very good food.

Thank you both for these sugeestions, but neither one of them are the one I am trying to remember. If I recall, there were no accommodations at this venue - it was a restaurant that looked like an inn, and perhaps could only be rented during the daytime so as to still allow for their evening dinner clientele. I wish this doddering old memory of mine would be more agreeable!

A word of advice about sunset hill- we looked into it for a venu and then check tripadvisor really bad reviews on the service etc.

I think the place you are referring to is the Grand View Inn in Jaffrey. The grounds are beautiful and overlook Mt. Monadnock. There is a big function room in a barn with exposed beams. We had dinner there--food was good, service was erratic--one of the salads came out a full 10 minutes after the others. We had some serious issues with the owner, who considered every request an imposition, but if you can overcome this, the setting is spectacular. They did a New Year's Eve buffet with carving tables and pasta stations; it did not elicit raves.

Sunset Hill House - Sugar Hill, NH - check out their website - we considered it for our wedding + reception but opted closer to Boston. Also the Mountain View Grand or The Mt. Washington Hotel comes to mind too. Best of luck.
