place to make meals for the week?

nummanumma Jan 3, 2007 11:24 PM

I saw on TV a place you can go and get recipes and ingredients and make meals for your upcoming week, then you take it all home already prepared. I have a girlfriend who is going to have to start cooking with her guy (he was just diagnosed with a chronic issue) and I thought this would be a good idea. Help with the name? Anyone?

My daughter used this place. It's called Supperworks ( http://www.supperworks.com/ ). She went to the location on Eglinton a couple of blocks west of Avenue Rd., just behind Autogrill Restaurant. I think it's a good concept for those who are just getting into cooking or are too busy to shop. All ingredients are pre-cut, so you choose a recipe from those featured, and fill bags with measured amounts of ingredients.

        NN,

        munsch.ca

but i doubt you will achieve restaurant quality there. as a good restaurant would hire competent staff not just let the patron cook for themselves. good luck anyway.
