Coyote Cafe -- has anyone been lately?

We thought we would try Mark Miller's Coyote Cafe in SF -- however I can't seem to find a single positive review anywhere online! Has anyone been there lately?
Thanks!

    I'm a fan.

That said, I'm aware that some have not been "wild" about Coyote Cafe lately. It is an equal to the now several terrific restaurants in Santa Fe... Geronimo (the best), Inn of the Anasazi (Martin Rios, chef), Ristra, and of course SantaCafe; all in the top-tier price wise. Others, slightly less expensive but every bit as good are Aqua Santa and Tulips. I have never had a bad meal or even a disappointing one at Coyote Cafe (I live in SFe and eat out a lot). Service at times has been annoying but nothing I cannot deal with/overcome.

Of course, it is best when Mark Miller is in town and on the premises.

Last May, we had lunch at the Coyote Cafe's Rooftop Cantina, because the main restaurant was not open then. You can go to my website (www.claire-walter.com), click on 'Dining Diary,' scroll down to 'Restaurants Outside Colorado' and read what I wrote then -- if May is not too long ago.

The Cantina and the restaurant are totally different. And, the Cantina is closed this time of year anyway.
