She asked me about Bosko's Trattoria. Has anyone been there? I'm a fan of Wappo's but am looking for other Calistoga recommendations for lunch or dinner. Thanks! It's fantastic with red wine. Beyond that, Bosko's is merely functional Italian and relatively uninspired. Wappo's is still the best, IMHO. You may also want to check out Flatiron, Brannan's (has gone downhill since they lost their chef), and Calistoga Inn (have had some tasty meals there in the last 6 months.) Brannans has a new chef who is supposed to be great. Eating there tonight and will find out. There is also a new place, BarVino. Small plates and wines by taste or glass.
