What are some good resources to find out about food events in Boston?

For example, tastings, demonstrations, cooking classes, etc.

This is a great resource. Thanks!
Note: Why did they leave out Allston/Brighton and Dorchester?!?!?

Probably because Where To Eat does a lot of business with Downtown, Back Bay, and Cambridge hotels (it's often an in-room freebie), and so focuses on restaurants in neighborhoods that are closer. But I'd say it's much more reliable and better written than the typical boosterish, untrustworthy, pay-for-play junk that you find in hotel rooms.

      2. the improper bostonian has a listing of events, usually on the page right after the restaurant review.
