bloody mary brunch in san francisco
Can anyone recommend a decent place in the city that offers a bloody mary brunch (and not one of those half-assed, we don't have a full liquor license soju marys - blech!)? I'm looking for a place that isn't too pricey, i.e., not the Ritz-Carlton or the Palace and also will not have an excruciatingly long wait.

Thanks! That's wonderful. I can't wait to try all these places out. On another note - does San Francisco do brunch? As in, have alcohol with breakfast on the weekend? I think the bloody mary is indispensable with weekend brunch, but my bf says that this is mostly a new york pretension/phenomenon.

Levende has a nice brunch, and used to have a self-serve Bloody Bar, with different seasonings, veggies, Clamato, tomato juice, V8 etc. I haven't been in a while, so you should probably call and check first.

Slow Club is my favorite brunch spot in the city and they make fantastic bloody mary's with habanero infused vodka.
