an all-Italian salad of romaine, radicchio, and endive with a simple dijon-garlic vinaigrette. You could dress it up with grape tomatoes or croutons, and/or shaved parm or chevre.

How about buttered noodles with parmesan and garlic (or lighter, spaghetti squash). Or go full throttle and have fettucine Alfredo?

It is usally served with a sauted green. Spianch , Rapini,Swiss Chard and potaotes.

I second the cooked spinach or swiss chard idea and a good loaf of bread. Yum.

I always have it served over a pasta. The juices make a great sauce and you get a little bite of everything all at once.
Or as mentioned served over a sauted spinach.
