Mom and grown daughter to see show at 1:00 and we would like to have brunch before. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  1. Le Central in Bristol is excellent for brunch.
its classic french food with both lunch and breakfast items.

    1. Can I assume you want to be IN Providence for your brunch? If you're coming from the east bay area, Bristol would work; if you're not it's a fair drive.

CAV has a very nice brunch, it's an unusual setting, and has easy street parking.

Nothing fancy but nice brunches....Rue de L'Espoir, Napa Valley Grille and Cheesecake Factory, both at PP Mall,

      1. We had dinner before Christas Carol at Bravo Brasserie on Saturday. It was great and very convenient. Not sure if they do brunch, but I would be kind of surprised if they don't.

        1. Bravo was being discussed in another thread recently - the owner left the country unexpectedly and his other restaurant (Mario's Paragon, E.G.) closed. Not sure what will become of Bravo. The other thread was deleted, i have no idea why.

          1. Not to worry, the owner in question sold Bravo to someone else (actually I think his wife did in his absence). I have been there since the sale and it is as good as ever.

            1. Excellent! I hadn't yet gotten around to trying it, and was disappointed when I thought I wouldn't be able to.

              1. The weirdest thing is that at one point they changed their menu to more standard American fare. I never went in, but was sad they moved away from their French/American bistro angle. Then, low and behold, I went to Bravo and they had changed it back again. Maybe the regulars complained?
