Oops! I was wondering why there were no replies to my last post and just found out that there is no text in it. Hmmm. Anyway, I am visiting Montreal with my girlfriend ths upcoming week and we would love some recommendations on places to eat out as well as any info on jazz clubs. We are looking for at least one really nice night out, maybe French cuisine as well as some low key but good food places.

Team, sorry about that. It won't happen again. Tom

    2. Au Pied De Cochon is a true experience. The chef is someone who goes for really over the top Montreal Flavored food.. He is a huge fan of foie gras, venison, duck and obviously Pork..He does a foie gras poutine which is really amazing, a foie gras "burger".. Pig in all forms makes its way into lots of the offerings.. From salads to mains. He also has a dish called duck in a can which you should investigate.. We really liked Europea a few years back..This is upscale and refined dining.. Also Joe Beef is another should not be missed place.. Very local people and ingrediants. Cooked with care.. For lunch I would tell you to try Snowden Deli for smoked meat.
