We'll be staying in Bellevue for a brief post holiday trip next week which is a first. Usually when in the Seattle area we enjoy the cheaper hotels in Renton or Lynnwood but this time thought we;d give Bellevue a try. For the most part we will probably dine in city center, but am wondering what is a good home style type of breakfast in the Bellevue area. I am a pancake fiend so Ive narrowed down choices to Chace's pancake corral or the Original pancake house in Kirkland, both of which ive never been to and both of which Ive heard mixed reviews on. Have been burned by bad breakfasts before- anyone got any reccomondations? Any dinner reccomendations for area, or any tips i general is also welcome! Never been to Bellevue before so I am desperate!

thanks and Happy new year to all chowhounds!

Family Pancake House in Kirkland is consistently delish for breakfast. However, unless you're going early, call on your way in, so you don't have to wait for a full hour.

Chace's you can miss without any regret.

Dinner, there are tons of options, so let us know what you're looking for.
