Good butchers in LA?

Whole Foods is overpriced. So is Bristol Farms. I guess the butcher at the Farmer's Market is good if you want to brave The Grove traffic, parking, etc.

QUESTION: Does anyone have a great indie supplier they know of and are willing to promote? That goes for fishmongers too!

    Alexander's Meat Market in San Gabriel has some good butchers.
