Best Noodle Shop for tonight

I'm looking to grab some noodles tonight downtown (below 14th street on the East side, preferably) around 7pm before I go party hopping. Any recomendations?

  1. Super Taste at 26 Eldridge. Get the spicy beef hand pulled noodles. They are excellent, and at $4 for an enormous bowl, a great bargain. They will fortify you before you begin your New Year's odyssey.

    1. You can also try the following:

      For Japanese Ramen

      - Momofuku noodle bar (163 1st Ave, Btwn 10th & 11th St)
      - Rai Rai Ken (214 E 10th St, Btwn 1st & 2nd Ave)
      - Mei Ku Tei (63 Cooper Sq, Btwn 7th St & Astor Pl)

      For Chinese Noodle
-Great NY Noodletown - 28 Bowery at Pell Street (Chinatown) - you can't go wrong with their shrimp wonton noodle, and it is so cheap!

        1. Sobaya - in the LES one street over from St Marks.
Fantastic Japanese noodles all made by hand.

          1. OOh, I second Rai Rai Ken. Small counter space, but delicious, hearty soup. I love adding butter and corn to mine.
