Spanish wine store

I remember reading a blurb in the NYT Dining section (or perhaps elsewhere) this year about a former sommelier/restrauteur opening a small wine shop in Manhattan focusing exclusively on Spanish wines.

Does anyone know the name or address of such a place (it wouldn't surprise me if were called Crianza or Solera or something)? It would have been open a year or less.

Are you thinking of Tinto Fino on First Ave?

I don't know about this store you're talking about, but PJ Wines has the best selection of Spanish wines I know of in the city.

I've been meaning to check out the new place, but I agree that PJ's has an excellent selection with some knowledge staff members.

PJ's is excellent for Spanish wines. I loaded up on 01's from them...

01 Marques de Riscal Reserva for $9.97!!! Free delivery to the city. We had some glitches with online ordering though, you might want to place your order by phone.
