Quick Weekend in Quebec

JohnG Dec 30, 2006 11:52 PM

Happy New Year everybody!
I'm going to Quebec for the weekend in mid-January and hoping for a recommendation for a spot to have some lunch.
We're staying in the Old City and prefer a place where lunch isn't rushed, where we can enjoy some good food and a bottle, or two, of wine.
Would prefer French food, but if anyone has a spot they particularly like, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks for any tips, and all the best to everyone in the New Year!

Away from old part of town, on Cartier, Graffitti fits exactly what you are looking for in re: ambience.

Versa is pretty good, although when I went I found the food a bit salty. I also hear that the sushi place Yuzu is excellent.

Sounds great, I'll keep it in mind when I'm in Montreal.
But, yes, I am going to Quebec City!

        John.

Assuming you'll be in town after January 9th, I suggest you lunch at:

Restaurant Le Club Chasse et Peche
            423 Rue St-Claude
            (514) 861-1112
