Quick Weekend in Quebec

Happy New Year everybody!
I'm going to Quebec for the weekend in mid-January and hoping for a recommendation for a spot to have some lunch.
We're staying in the Old City and prefer a place where lunch isn't rushed, where we can enjoy some good food and a bottle, or two, of wine.
Would prefer French food, but if anyone has a spot they particularly like, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks for any tips, and all the best to everyone in the New Year!

  1. Assuming you'll be in town after January 9th, I suggest you lunch at:

Restaurant Le Club Chasse et Peche
    423 Rue St-Claude
    (514) 861-1112

    1. I think JohnG is refferring to Quebec City...

      1. Sounds great, I'll keep it in mind when I'm in Montreal.
But, yes, I am going to Quebec City!

        John.

        1. Versa is pretty good, although when I went I found the food a bit salty. I also hear that the sushi place Yuzu is excellent.

          1. Away from old part of town, on Cartier, Graffitti fits exactly what you are looking for in re: ambience.
