There's a sign in their window, which I paraphrase:

"Due to the New Year's holiday, we didn't get fresh fish from Japan. Instead, tonight we will serve Japanese curry with rice, udon, and pork belly."

No info on pricing or reservations.

Thanks for the good tip! After all-day house-cleaning (it's so-o-o Japanese to start the New Year with a clean house)...we opted for the simple fare of Japanese curry at Sebo. It was just the right touch of clean, bright flavors. The hot green tea was hand-warming on a cold night. The mood was relaxed and friendly in the green paneled wood trimmed and backlit screens - the design of the space reflects the design of the food. I loved the space and I loved the food. The seafood curry had a good mix of seafood with that tasty Japanese curry that is unlike any other curry and always evokes a cultural memory - garnished with a very well-seasoned fukujinzuke. The pork belly was meltingly rich with a perfectly balanced sweet broth and a dab of sinus-clearing hot mustard - how can you not be happy with fat on rice? I am still smiling. :^)
Prices were $8 for the seafood curry and $7 for the pork belly with a $1 bowl of rice. Parking was surprisingly easy for a Saturday night.

I'm glad someone made it over there. Was really tempted, as it would be an opportunity to eat there at a low tariff. Thanks for including the prices. Did these taste like they were made with standard curry packaged mix?

The curry roux was not "from the box", Melanie, but still had that fruit-enhanced nuance with a light touch of curry flavor. It was an unexpected delight.
