Holiday leftover turkey potstickers

I cut out a recipe from one of the free NYC papers (either AM NY or METRO) for holiday leftover potstickers. Basically, you throw all the leftovers from the turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing into the wrapper and then make the potsticker. You use the leftover cranberry sauce as a dipping sauce.

Anyhow, my boyfriend accidentally threw the recipe out and I can't find it anywhere online! Did anyone happen to cut it out also and if so can you either post it or email it to me?! I'll be forever grateful!

  1. I don't have a recipe but I really have had think about it and decided I cannot think of anything worse. It should not be hard to make up your own recipe, but the idea just makes me shudder. Even if you made it as ravoli or another stuffed pasta.

    1. over thanksgiving someone told me about thanksgiving meatballs, which are made with ground turkey, prepared stuffing and soaked dried cranberries....serve with your favorite gravy.

i haven't made them, but it's a similar way to use leftovers.

      1. why not just make a delicious sandwich of turkey, stuffing and mayo on white bread?

        1. haha, I did sort of wing it and made them. I used wonton wrappers which might have been too small - they ended up more like little wontons that you'd get in your soup in Chinatown as opposed to a dumpling that you could take 3 bites out of.

As much as I love the turkey sandwich, it was fun to do something different with the leftovers. And it wasn't anywhere near as bad as you may think. Each one got a little bit of turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing.

I used the cranberry sauce and turkey gravy as two dipping sauces.

I'm not sure I'll rush to make them again next year, though. :)
