I liked it a lot in it's earlier incarnations, but was very disappointed in the only meal I had at the new location. That was about a year ago. It was a very mediocre piece of meat for the price. I would love to hear that that was an aberration. If you're set on steak, you could always go to Homestead. But that's not on list of top steakhouses, either. Hope someone has either a better report on Frank's or a better idea.

Frank's has been terrible since they moved into Chelsea Market. When they were across the street, (where Craftsteak is now) it was quite a decent place.

Slow service, and both times I've been there in the past year, steak was either over or undercooked. I ate around the undercooked part of a rib eye, and what was edible was decent, but just not worth the overall hassle. The overcooked steak was during a holiday party with a large group, so it's kind of forgivable, but I don't know how a steakhouse would serve a well-done steak.
