Thai in Phoenixville

I was told that there was one Thai restaurant in Phoenixville's old town. (Not the ones in the strip malls on Route 724.) Does anybody have any recommendations or admonitions about it?
I believe it is called Thai Place (not Thai Palace.)

Thanks, in advance!

  1. Thai Place is in a strip mall - it's where the Giant is located.
We like it there but then again...the competetition isn't so fierce around here, LOL.

724? I know of a Giant in Phoenixville by 113, near the Sears Home store. Is this the same Giant you refer to?

    2. I wonder if it has two locations? I have been to the one in the strip mall, I just forgot the name. I looked up the one in "downtown" and the address was Nutt Rd.

      Thank you for the response!

      1. Well, I feel pretty stupid! I did not know that Schuykill Road, turned into Nutt road when you enter the borough of Phoenixville. My wife said she saw a sign for Nutt Rd. by the aforementioned strip mall. Sure enough, that is only location of Thai Place.

We first went there, a few months ago. That was when the tornado went through and the whole area lost power for days. We were just seated and the power went out, so we said we would be back! We went back for lunch and thought is was just average. Clean and congenial, which counts for something!

I wish we could find better Thai, closer to home. Amity Twp.
