NYE, Non Prix Fixe Dinner

Quik Dec 29, 2006 03:47 AM

Does anyone know of a good restaurant to celebrate NYE? Ideally, it would be lively, serve a NON-prix fixe dinner from 10pm+, have a great selection of drinks or wine, and most locations are fine - except for Hollywood.

Thanks so much.

Enoteca Drago. Not sure if they still have openings though.

I thought DH and I were going to Enoteca Drago, but just realized that he made reservations at Drago Ristorante. Looks like they have a set menu for New Years and the first two courses are shellfish -- which I'm allergic too. :( Wonder if too late to get reservation at Enoteca Drago.

I made reservations at Blue Velvet downtown. Non prix fixe, which is just what I was looking for. We're going to a show at the Disney concert hall, and I'm looking forward to trying this place out afterwards.

They said they do have a tasting menu, which they always offer, and then their regular a la carte menu, too.

Mako Beverly Hills. They might be booked though...
