HELP! DC restaurant with chef's table??

What is the name of the restaurant in DC that is tiny and has a changing menu where it's almost like a "chef's table" atmosphere. anyone know what I'm talking about?

The minibar menu does not change frequently; it evolves over time with, maybe, a half-dozen items changing in a year.

Perhaps the poster means Komi? It is tiny like Obleisk.

The other possibility for what you are referring to could be Minibar, within Cafe Atlantico. Less of a chef's table atmosphere, but it is only 6 seats or so, all along a bar.

I think you are referring to Labortorio, which was the back part of Gallileo. Chef Roberto Dona would cook in his exhibition kitchen for the seven or so tables in this glass-enclosed area.

Unfortunately, the Gallileo space is presently closed for renovation.
