Pina's Bistro in Tustin and Roma d Italia

kevin Dec 28, 2006 05:21 PM

Anyone been recently? What are your thoughts? Is there anything new to the menu, or specials and any new desserts? Also, have prices crept up again? In the past year or so?

As for Roma d Italia is it any good? I actually never went here back when living in the OC area. Pizza good?

Roma d Italia is a good Americanized Italian red sauce restaurant. Not real authentic but good comfort food. The pizza is pretty good too.

Pina's is good also and more authentic but a bit pricey for what you get, imo. I personally don't like the pizza there very much. The cheese was romano cheese only and no mozzerella, it may have been a mistake but I haven't ordered it since. They do have nice coarsely ground homemade sausage.
