Brunch near the 405?

Want to meet a friend on his way from Laguna to Santa Barbara for Saturday brunch (I'm in Santa Monica). All of my ideas - 26 Beach, Joe's - are too far off his trajectory. Help is greatly appreciated!

The restaurant at the Getty, maybe? It is right off the 405 and they open at 11.30 am.
