we're going to see the dinosaurs at the Acad of Nat Sciences. Does anyone have any nearby lunch recommendations with a child?

You might want to go to Pietro's. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from the Museum, but it would probably be a great choice.

Pietro's is very good...a bit of a walk from the museum but worth it. There's not much else at the museum or close by unless you want to shell out for lunch at the Fountain at the Four Seasons across the street or go a block further for (gag) TGIFridays, but if you're driving up there, you may want to hit the Reading Terminal Market about 10 blocks East since they have $2 parking in the lot across the street and a zillion choices for kids and adults. http://www.readingterminalmarket.org
