Coffee in Paris

Any suggestions for excellent and affordable coffee in Paris, preferably around the 6th? After seven weeks, I've found most cafe coffee passable but no where near excellent. I'm sure that some of the grand cafes (Cafe de Flore, La Rotonde etc) make great coffee, but I'm looking for a more affordable, every day kind of place.

Many thanks for any thoughts!

I kind of like the one in Le Bal Bullier, especially if you ask for a 'ristretto'.

You can also 'try' coffees at the nespresso store near Le bon marché.
