Between Westwood and Burbank?

Need a recommendation for a great dinner place, not super expensive, roughly between Westwood and Burbank for Wednesday night. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Thanks very much. We decided on Panzanella. I hope it wasn't a mistake. We'll find out later.

      Spumoni, on Ventura just west of Van Nuys Blvd. Freeway-convenient. Get the calamari appetizer (non-fried) and any gnocchi dish. Outstanding.

        Assuming you head north on the 405 and east on the Ventura Fwy., there are any number of places in Sherman Oaks and Studio City that would be convenient: Max, Bamboo, Tiramisu in Sherman Oaks and Firefly, La Loggia, Pinot Bistro and about a dozen good sushi places in Studio City.
