Any news on what date it's opening?

I saw the menu posted on Eater the other day (http://eater.com/archives/2006/12/po_...) and it sounded very interesting. I've actually never gotten around to visiting the one in Manhattan, so really looking forward to this opening.

All I know is I will finally have a local place to fill my sweetbread obsession, having yet to see it at Saul on the menu. Yum.

I just walked by Po. They said they had been delayed by the Dept. of Buildings but hope to be open within the next 10 days

According to NYT Po will be opening next month.

I think they are still waiting for their liquor license.

They haven't even put up a new sign yet (it still says "SMITTY'S"), so I'm guessing the whole place is still under construction.

I've had the sweetbreads at stone park and they were pretty good. Can't remember if they were a special or on the regular menu...
