Fried Seafood combo?

a

My mom apparently had a great fried seafood combo years ago somewhere in california and has been in search of one in NY ever since. I think there were fried shrimps, cod, crab cakes...etc in the dish. Can someone PLEASE recommend something along that line? Price isn't an issue and anywhere below harlem is alright. And yes, it has to be fried... not steamed, baked, sauteed... :)

thank you hounds in advance!

The Olympic Flame Diner on West 60th St., near Amsterdam has a fried seafood combo. Never had it, but it's a start.

I had a great fried seafood basket at Lure fishbar in Soho(142 Mercer Street- http://www.lurefishbar.com).

The contents: Combo Seafood Basket - Filet of Fish / Crab Cake / Two Crispy Shrimp / Lobster Tail served with Hand Cut Fries, Coleslaw, Cocktail Sauce, & Tartar Sauce - all for $25. A friend and I shared and it was way more than enough food for the both of us and everything was delicious. I have some pictures of the basket up here if you're interested:

I just wrote about another fried fish platter, the fritto misto di pesce, from Celeste on the UWS. It's fantastic. Pics on our site if you want to check it out.
