Thai Cooking Classes in Los Angeles?

I’m looking to take a Thai cooking class somewhere in LA and was wondering whether anyone on chowhound knows of one. Anyone out there take a class worth checking out? Nothing too serious just want to take my girlfriend out for a fun change of pace.

Thanks in advance.

the Sur La Table location near the Farmer's Market/the Grove has a class on January 22nd, 6:30 pm called "Explore Thai Cooking", $65 per person. I haven't been to any of their classes yet, but I've heard good reviews from those who have.

Jet Tila, who is teaching that class, also teaches at a number of other places in L.A. I took a Thai street foods class from him at the New School of Cooking in Culver City that was quite fun.

Update: Jet accepted a job as chef in Las Vegas at the Wynn's Asian bistro, Wazuzu. On the plus side, he lists some recipes on his Website.
