Ideas for Christmas dinner in Pasadena or Northeast Los Angeles?

We're thinking of going out for dinner for Christmas. Does anyone know of good places that will be open that day?

    Maybe something at the Ritz Carlton?

      Last time my family tried this (mind you, we're talking the night of the 24th, but I can't imagine the 25th being any better) we drove around Pasadena getting grumpier by the minute when not a place we could find was open. This was a few years ago (the experience was bad) and we ended up at McCormick and Schmick on Union.

      Whatever you do, do call ahead!
