Tessa's Tea Room, Phoenix

Any input on Tessa's Tea Room? Interested in afternoon tea but not looking for the Ritz Carlton or Phoenician.

Thanks - have been to the English Rose a few times and have enjoyed it; however, was looking for something in central Phx.

There's a cute place in Carefree called English Rose Tea Room. Prices are reasonable and it won't break the bank. Its off Scottsdale Road in Carefree.

I've taken my mom to Abbey Tea Garden out in Mesa a few times(Dobson/Guadalupe). It's been a couple years since we last went but I remember it being a nice tea for the price. The tables are spread around the little gift shop and when you are first seated you are allowed to go back to the display and pick your own tea cup. Popular place with the Red Hat crowd - always seems to be a group there when we've gone.

We also went once to the Biltmore which was nice. A lot pricier and tonier though.
