Mad Apples - what happened?

I remember trekking (I live in the opposite end of the city) all the way down to Bloor West for their yummy angel hair pasta in the 90s. They were always very busy so I was surprised to see another business in it's location after I returned from living abroad for a few years. Does anyone know what happened to the restaurant and if the owner has set up a new restaurant elsewhere in the city?
