Cambridge/Arlington for Christmas

My partner and I will be staying at the Cambridge House B&B for Christmas Eve and would love to have some recs for Christmas Day breakfast or lunch, if anything is open.

Thanks in advance!

You might also want to head over to Brookline. I'll bet most of the restaurants on Harvard Street will be open.

Thanks for the info, it is much appreciated! I think it might just be Eastern Standard...sounds great.

      Regards,

Looks like there are at least a handful of restaurants open on Christmas Day:

If it were me, I'd head over to Eastern Standard in Kenmore for brunch:

I can't imagine much will be open, but here are a few suggestions to check out:

          - For Chinese, Qingdao Garden is not far from you on Mass Ave. There are many posts about it on this board - be sure to try the dumplings.

          - Henrietta's Kitchen is attached to the Charles Hotel in Harvard Square, and serves tasty and large meals. Very American, good vegetables. They might be doing a brunch if you are lucky - you could check bostonchefs.com.

Honestly, most of the usual breakfast/brunch places will probably be closed. I do think that Cambridge House B&B will give you scones, etc. Good luck!
