After-work outing in Midtown - please advise!

Yikes! My boss wants me to plan an office outing to a bar with decent snacks, and I am feeling the pressure...the office is in Rockefeller Center and walking distance is a must. Price not much of an object as we will mostly drink beer. We'll go early (@6pm) so hopefully crowds won't be a problem. Any ideas are appreciated!

Monkey Bar is awesome, but it's pricey. It's where my friends and I go before an event at the Racquet Club.

I work in Rock Center as well, and we recently went to monkey bar for some drinks. I think the food there is supposed to be good too, but we were more cocktail-centric. Maybe someone else can comment...

My co-workers and I like to go to Faces & Names. You must try the mini cheeseburgers... For a big group, reserve the back area.

Thanks, that might be just the spot to please my budget-minded boss, although I wonder if there will be room for us to sit down? I forgot to specify in the original post that our group is about 12-14 people.

There are couches to sit on in the back, but if you're looking for somewhere quiet, F&N might not be the place to go, it gets crowded but it's fun.
