Can anyone tell me where is a decent mexican place in downtown berkeley? I'm looking for somewhere I can grab a quick, inexpensive lunch while running some errands on foot. Thanks!

La Cascada is on Center between Oxford and Shattuck. I really like the chile rellano burrito and they have the best salsas. They also have a location on College Ave and Ashby in Elmwood.

Ditto. It a good option this time of year since schools are out. It can be nuts at lunch time between Cal and Berkeley High students.

The only place I can think of is Taqueria Can Cun on Alston off Shattuck. It's good to very good but not outstanding. Lots of salsa choices. Burritos about $5 bucks.
