    1. re: New Trial

LOL! Cut @ the Beverly Wilshire's nowhere near downtown, but that would be appropriate.

    2. Great response, New Trial!

So far this fall we've been to pre-Ahmanson dinners at Ciudad and McCormick and Schmick. We're also going to Edward Scissorhands tomorrow and we'll be trying Engine Co. 28 (never been). We stick with restaurants that have shuttles to the Music Center, and we've been happy with this year's choices so far. Depends on what kind of food you like.

      1. Is there a reason you don't want to go to Patina, which is across the street under the Disney Hall? The food is terrific -- but not cheap!

        1. Why not head over to little tokyo? Its pretty close to the music center and you could go to sushi gen or Kokekkoko for yummy chicken skewers. If you want something a little more "sophisticated", you could go to watergrill which is also close and very, very good. Personally, I find Patina boring when there are so many other wonderful choices around.
