NEW YEAR'S EVE IN BROOKLYN

So, what are you doing New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Many restaurants go all out and create very special menus for the occasion.

CONVIVIUM OSTERIA has just finished their MENU and it sounds fantastically delicious. Choice of 4 sittings: 6, 6:30, 9, 9:30.

They are offering a 5 Course Prix Fixe Dinner with Champagne. The price is $80.

Scallops in Butter and White Wine

    Any idea what the menu at Noodle Pudding will be? They're closed until Tuesday so no info by calling them.

      NOODLE PUDDING is having a dinner.

      Priz Fixe : different prices at different times:

      $45 5:30
      $55 7:30
      $75 9:30

      We had dinner there last night and it was delicious.Very very crowded as usual.

        They all sound so wonderful. Isn't it terrific that we have such excellent, creative restaurants in Brooklyn?

        I always enjoyed the Saint Sylvestre special Menu for New Year's Eve in Paris, and I'm happy to see the custom has spread to Brooklyn.

            Cocotte is doing a 5-course for $75 and a 3-course for $50... here's the menu, I copied it from their website. Looks pretty ambitious.

            All 5 Courses - $75
            1 Appetizer, 1 Entrée & Dessert - $50

              Had dinner there with a group of 6 last week and it was great. Great food and attractive place too. Asked about this dinner and they still have a few openings. So much is closed that this might be the place to go.
