Buying Turkey

Monica Dec 20, 2006 08:50 PM

I have promised my mom that I'd buy a turkey for Christmas.
I am not an expert at buying turkey. Can you guys recommend me a brand or a market where I can purchase a good quality turkey? I guess I should get free range, free blahh blahh kind. =)

Trader Joe's has a very nice free range turkey--Key Food has nice butterballs

Don't use a butterball. They're injected with chemicals and fat.
Either get an Empire Kosher turkey that comes brined or go to Whole Foods
and get a turkey and brine it yourself. It's worth the effort.
