japanese comfort food: nabeyaki udon please!!!

hallo, hounds. i am craving nabeyaki udon, especially now that it has actually become cold. do people have favorite places? preferably downtown, and even more preferably in/near the west village (although there's a dearth of good japanese in w village.)

Soba-ya in the east village is great -- they made all their udon and soba on site and it is very tasty and quite reasonable.
