Alfredo's of Rome?
Have a reservation for Alfredo's on 49th St for Christmas Day, how is it? I had eaten at the one in Disney many years ago and it was great. Genuine experience or tourist trap?
My vote is tourist trap, but that doesn't mean that you won't like the food. It's just nothing too creative or memorable.
the real one in rome i went to as a kid was rather nice where i was served by Alfredo himself and given his famous golden serving spoons to eat my dinner with ! a priceless memory for this foodie .
i know nothing about the ny one unfortunately .
Thanks for getting back to me. I'm not expecting culinary excellence, just a good meal in a nice place, something different.
