Big fan of Ed Witt and heard some great stuff about Jordan Kahn, the pastry chef.
Everything else is questionable.
Decor is tacky, like a bad futuristic vision from someone living in 1980. And the location - a former gym in the wholesale district of "Chelsea Heights" - makes me wonder what the proprietor was thinking when he rented the space. The price points are not likely to attract a neighborhood crowd.
The one thing I'm interested in seeing is how the disconnect between main course and dessert will work out. Witt comes up with wonderfully creative flavor combinations but the desserts are a little more "out there." Hopefully the food is successful enough to carry the less-than-beautiful space.
