Cookie Bakeries in SF

I need to buy about 12 dozen christmas cookies for a work event. My go-to bakery is usually Noe Valley Bakery, but I am not a huge fan of their cookies. Is there somewhere in SF with fantastic cookies, and bonus if they have any themed/decorated for Christmas?

Try Dianda's on Mission Street near 25th. the Italian style cookies are delicious.

I am a huge fan of Specialty's cookies. Don't think they have Xmas themes one, but they are by far my favorite.

Destination Baking Co. in Glen Park has assorted cookie plates for the holidays available for $12.50. I admit I didn't count how many cookies were on each plate. 2 dozen? 3 dozen? I'm not sure, but it was a wonderful and festive variety. They also are making simply decorated Star of David and Christmas tree sugar cookies. You'd have to call to see what they might have available.

Destination worked perfectly. I will report more on Thursday when I have had a chance to try all the varieties. And you were very close on the numbers per plate - there are 27 so exactly somewhere between 2 and 3 dozen. Thank you!

OMG ... if you can afford it Citizen Cake has the BEST themed cookies that actually taste like something. Otherwise, not so themed ... Emporio Rulli.

I've always liked stuff from Le Boulanger bakeries... but I think they are only on the peninsula. They always have themed cookies for all the holidays (valentines, christmas, etc.)http://www.leboulanger.com/

Also, there is Specialty's, which always have big cookies and will also deliver. http://www.specialtys.com/
I don't know if they have holiday themed ones though.
