Where can I find some really good caramels with fleur de sel in New York (preferably Manhattan)?

you get Whole Foods french import caramels for 2.39! perfecr taste and available near checkout and the choco truffles. Enjoy> I ate one pack in 2 hours and did not feel sick, just a bit full>>>

the bedford cheese shop on bedford ave in wmsburg has them. not in manhattan, but only one stop out on the l train.

Just don't get fooled by the fleur de sel caramels at
trader joe's. They look right, but...

I bought a box with high hopes, fine texture, but the flavor is almost the same as the Brach's that you find in your Grandmother's candy dish.

I looked for them at Fairway last night, with no success. None of the staff had a clue. Do you remember where in the store you saw the salty caramels? Thanks.

I saw them about 6 weeks ago. They were stacked close to the floor, way below waist level, on one of the shelf banks that stand at the end of the aisles. If you are standing with your back to the Fairway brand olive oils, look at one of the shelves that are directly facing you. Like at the end of the aisle that has the mustards and jams. I wish I could draw you a picture. They were packed in small wooden boxes, just like the ones I saw in Paris last month.
