The people who like sweets for breakfast love their fresh pastries and huge pancakes.Coffee cake flavors change regularly every few days (whatever fresh fruits there are) and are quite good. Personally, I like salty food for breakfast. My two favorite things there are the black bean cakes and onion gruyere tart. I haven't found those two items anywhere else, which is an added reason to try them at Dottie's. The pieces of bread are big and on the dense side, with plenty of good quality cinnamon on top.
