ISO good Indian food (Northern) in Encino, Sherman Oaks or nearby

We would like good, typical Northern Indian food tonight.
Any suggestions?
Encino, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Tarzana, Van Nuys, etc. -- with vegetarian options!

    Well, too late for Saturday night, but we like Bollywood in Studio City (on Ventura west of Vineland) quite a lot. Clay Oven in Sherman Oaks isn't bad at all.

    We actually go to India Sweets & Spices on Topanga Cyn. and Sherman Way, in Canoga Park, for vegetarian Indian fare. It's a grocery store with a cafeteria in the back -- the prices are mindbogglingly low. The last time we went, it was a group of six, and we feasted to bursting for just over $20.
