yeah, love cardamom. i will have to try sundaes and cones; i've been meaning to do so and this is even more reason!

also - not exactly an ice cream parlor, but still i'll mention that del posto had a cardamom spuma on the menu with a bittersweet chocolate tart. and they have a different cardamom dessert - a semifreddo - listed on the menupages menu. so you could always pop in there and get a drink and dessert at the bar i'm sure!

i just had some last week at ronnybrook farm in chelsea market. one scoop of cardamom and one scoop of ginger creme brulee- the perfect pick me up on a day of stressful christmas shopping!

I've never heard of Cardamon. Where is it from, taste like, etc?

It's cardamom, and it's a very fragrant green pod with little seeds inside (there are other varieties).

A few previous posts on this most delicate of spices. It really is quite addictive when you get the taste for it.

There is a place, I think it's called Sundaes and Cones, but I know the location--it's on E. 10th Street between 3rd & 4th Avenue on the north side of the street. I am sure you can find cardamon ice cream there.
                  Good luck!
